On the contrary, this member of the Mell family is a furniture invitation to a cosy rendezvous with friends, family or colleagues. With the emphasis on ‘cosy’. On the good old kitchen bench, the chest-with-armrest model, you didn’t know which side of your bottom you should shift your weight to after sitting down for just a short time. By comparison, the separate seat cushions and high back of this youngster designed by Jehs + Laub are so softly upholstered that they allow you to think, talk, eat, play or work endlessly ‘around the corner’. And it does not necessarily have to be in the kitchen either. The elegant metal frame cuts a good figure in any room. ![COR Mell Bank
