Munich: Residential high-rises in the Hirschgarten quarter completed

Allmann Sattler Wappner Architekten have completed construction of two 15-story residential high-rises in Munich’s new quarter “Am Hirschgarten”. The stringent feel of the grid-like façade of the towers with their large, square windows, is given a lighter touch in the form of oriels, with the number of them increasing as you move up the buildings. Fully glazed, they afford interesting views of the surroundings. In addition to the total of 260 apartments, the towers have several kitchen/living rooms, two rooftop terraces and a fitness studio. All features can be jointly used by the tenants – after all, sharing is part of the project, which goes by the name of “Friends.” (am)
