Court Circuit is a suspension lamp which interprets in an uncommon way the materiality connected with led. The contemporary lighting planning is more and more expressed by this new light source which is often associated with electronics and with a cold, i

mpersonal and immaterial technology. Matali Crasset points to dismiss these prejudices creating a new connection with this technology, to transpose familiarity and affectivity, sensations and implicit connections related to the classic incandescent light

bulb, a synonym for warmth, positivity, well-being and welcome. Therefore Court Circuit wants to give volume and presence to led, to make it more "domestic and daily", to bring the images of the icon of the traditional light bulb back to the shape of the

LED project, recreating an affective relationship with this new source.
