Biography

Marleen Valstar (1975) studied furniture and architectural design at the Visual Arts Academy in Maastricht. Since 1998, she has designed products and interiors. Based on simplicity of design, the inspiration for her work often comes from the potential aff

orded by the materials themselves. One of the products that Marleen designed for Cascando is the Velvet cloakroom series.
