“With the clearly defined forms and intentionally streamlined design of the Tara Ultra series, we are embracing current trends and desires for the kitchen”, explains the managing director, Andreas Dornbracht. “Reduction in design, concentration on the perfect harmony of fittings and application. Tara Ultra is another excellent example of our goal to offer products that blend function and emotion in the kitchen.”The design concept that Tara Ultra shares with Tara and Tara Classic is evident right at first glance: The characteristic Tara spout geometry has been integrated into its own kitchen-specific design. The exceptionally tall, slender spout frees up ample space for handling large pots and other utensils. The ergonomic lever handle features a new, particularly striking design. The Tara Ultra single-lever mixer is available in seven different versions with various projections (e.g. with a 240 mm or 280 mm projection), for use in combination with water heaters, left-handed lever handles, and rinsing spray or Profi spray sets. The Tara Ultra two-hole mixer variant, featuring a Profi spray set, provides an even greater reach – practical, for example, for filling pots and dishes with water without having to place them in the sink basin. The highlight of the series is the Tara Ultra Profi single-lever mixer with a pivoting spout and an integrated rinsing spray with aerator and jet functions, featuring an arm that – in fitting with the new series – is rectangular instead of round for the first time. The diameter of the spring has been optimised, thus allowing an overall slender shaft design.
