Product description

The White Snow, designed by Antonia Astori in 1996, is not just an impeccable dinner service in white porcelain. Over the years it has also become a kind of palette on which many designers, and some artists, have left their highly personalized mark. ELIZA

BETH is the interpretation given to it today by Marta Laudani and Marco Romanelli.
The fine white china blooms with the "English Roses" that we were used to seeing on fabrics and cushions in romantic Old English cottages. However, this refined vision

is combined with an entirely contemporary process of de-contextualization nd fragmentation: the motif in fact works by parts. The overall image is recomposed by addition, and it can only be seen in its entirety with all five plates that make up the dinn

er service. A single branch is laid on each plate, an isolated bud, a flower in full bloom. Thirteen years after the celebrated and greatly imitated "Mediterraneo" dinner service, which introduced black grès stoneware and asymmetrical shapes into the new

vocabulary of table art, Laudani&Romanelli return to the theme and deliberately play with the great tradition of bourgeois
dinner services "in white and blue". The result is in some way a timeless design.
