The past year has changed the world of work forever: Boundaries between the home and the office have become more fluid. With regard to the furniture, which now has to function in both worlds, the demand for ergonomics, comfort and practicability has gained immensely in importance. Illustrator Denny Saurio illustrates this new dynamic for Mara in a conceptual illustration that shows above all: Looking forward is what counts now.
With a large selection of space-saving and multifunctional tables and chairs, many of them foldable and stackable, Mara offers the basis for productive office work and at the same time creates products that can also be used universally in living spaces. Like the Italian manufacturer's "Follow" collection, an innovative collection of sit-stand tables, certified according to EN 527 as desks for office use: "Follow Desk", "Follow Tilting", "Follow Meeting", "Follow Bench" and "Follow Break" offer height-adjustable tables made of powder-coated metal and ecologically chromed lifting column in a wide range of variants, from small side tables to large conference tables. The tabletop of "Follow Tilting" can also be folded up very easily so that the table can be stored in a space-saving way after use. "Follow Bench" is the jack-of-all-trades of the collection: equipped with two height-adjustable tops, which can be positioned separately from each other. In no time at all, the single table becomes two work surfaces that can be independently adjusted in height, and thanks to the patented mechanical balancing system, the weight of the table tops is not a factor. The individual additions to the "Follow" collection include a concealed cable management system with sockets, which enables an orderly power supply for laptop and co. In keeping with the name "Follow", the collection thus accompanies the user through everyday life and can be quickly, silently and easily adjusted to the right height for any task – even micro height adjustments are possible. No power connection is required for the effective function; the control sits directly under the tabletop and is thus easy to operate.
