Features that are part of its DNA, like compositional flexibility and a high degree of customization, coupled with a determination to find just the right materials to ensure optimum performance outdoors, form the core design elements of the Vulcano sofa. The sofa base is made of marine plywood, while the armrest and backrest structures are in austenitic stainless steel 316, a super alloy that ensures superior performance in outdoor settings. The woven upholstery is made of polypropylene fiber or polyurethane rubber and comes in a sophisticated palette of colors that range from earth tones to bordeaux and olive green. The sofa sits on a perimeter frame in austenitic stainless steel 316 and nylon pads. To ensure optimal outdoor performance, all the padded cushions are encased in a special lining material made of breathable water-repellent fabric, while the vast collection of outdoor upholstery fabrics guarantees excellent resistance not only to the effects of weather and the sun but also to chlorine and salt water. It is strongly advised that the respective covers be used to keep the Vulcano sofas in top condition and prolong their original beauty as much as possible. ![Flexform Vulcano Sectional Sofa 4](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/FLEXFORM_VULCANO-sectional-sofa-4.jpg)![Flexform Vulcano Sectional Sofa 6](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/FLEXFORM_VULCANO-sectional-sofa-6.jpg)![Flexform Vulcano Sectional Sofa 3](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/FLEXFORM_VULCANO-sectional-sofa-3.jpg)![Flexform Vulcano Daybeds 2](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/FLEXFORM_VULCANO-daybeds-2.jpg)![Flexform Vulcano Armchairs](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/FLEXFORM_VULCANO-armchairs.jpg)![Flexform Vulcano Sectional Sofa 7](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/FLEXFORM_VULCANO-sectional-sofa-7.jpg)![Flexform Vulcano Day Beds](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/FLEXFORM_Vulcano-Day-beds.jpg) ![Flexform Vulcano Daybed](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/FLEXFORM_Vulcano-daybed.jpg)![Flexform Vulcano Sectional Sofa 2](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/FLEXFORM_VULCANO-sectional-sofa-2.jpg)![Flexform Vulcano Daybeds 3](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/FLEXFORM_VULCANO-daybeds-3.jpg)![Flexform Vulcano Sectional Sofa 5](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/FLEXFORM_VULCANO-sectional-sofa-5.jpg)![Flexform Vulcano Daybeds 1](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/FLEXFORM_VULCANO-daybeds-1.jpg)![Flexform Vulcano Armchairs](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/FLEXFORM_Vulcano-armchairs_200131_120224.jpg)![Flexform Vulcano Sofas](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/FLEXFORM_Vulcano-sofas.jpg) ![Vulcano](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_1410x940_crop_center-center_none/FLEXFORM_VULCANO-sectional-sofa-1.jpg) - Request a quote - [Manufacturer's Product-Info](https://www.flexform.it/en/outdoor/products/sofas-sectional-sofa-ottomans/vulcano) - [Manufacturer's website](https://www.flexform.it/en) - [All products by Flexform @ Stylepark](https://www.stylepark.com/en/products/manufacturer/flexform) - [Flexform @ Stylepark](https://www.stylepark.com/en/manufacturer/flexform) Flexform Related Articles [DESIGN Flexform 2021: TESSA S.H. 11/11/2021 The armchair "Tessa S.H." by Flexform is based on traditional connectors and convinces with its mixture of elegance and craftsmanship.](https://www.stylepark.com/en/news/flexform-2021-tessa) [FEATURED Outside at home 2/17/2020 Back in the day, with its “Groundpiece” by Antonio Citterio, Flexform made the sofa the centerpiece of everyday life.
