The unique quality of the track is its flexibility: contrary to traditional tracks, the Flos patented one can be curved and bent. The resulting circuit, just like the friezes and stuccos that once decorated the ceilings of 19th century homes, thus becomes the architecture that develops the lighting of the space around a single common thread, itself conceived as a minimal and elegant decoration. The track has a figure of “8” section which has both a decorative and technical value. The matt white rubber is a clear reference to the color and texture of stucco decorations. The copper conductors are positioned externally in the lateral recesses: this thin metal line transfers the low voltage current and, at the same time, delicately embellishes the track. A bright landscape: infinite combinations My Circuit is presented with a family of lighting fixtures in white color, designed by Michael Anastassiades to meet the most diverse needs, from punctual lighting to the more atmospheric one. Due to the sophistication and variety of each single element, My Circuit represents the perfect synthesis of technology, performance, and design. In the system, Flos’ two souls - decorative and technical - coexist and complement each other to provide interior designers with an unparalleled tool of compositional freedom. Light fixtures of different typology, either for direct or diffuse light emission, can be attached and repositioned along the track in order to serve diverse functions depending on the environment and individual living needs. Transformers and control electronics are encapsulated in carefully designed volumes that create a pure landscape of modular geometries with maximum freedom. Decorative pendant fixtures complementary to the track system of My Circuit include: My Circuit Disc: Suspension lamp composed of a slender horizontal disc crossed by a vertical stem with a refined balance of geometries. It combines minimalist aesthetics, enhanced by the matte white colour, and advanced optically guided technology. The light is evenly diffused downwards, making the lamp ideal for placement above a table to illuminate a dinner party. Its slim thickness makes it a perfect lighting tool for rooms with particularly low ceilings. The lighting technology used, Edge Lighting, places the LEDs along the outer diameter of the body, while a 3D laser-etched optical guide makes the light emission perfectly homogeneous. The shockproof cast methacrylate diffuser ensures the lamp is durable and perfectly transparent. My Circuit Lines: Vertical suspension lamp composed of two light bars, conceived as an alternative to a floor lamp, with a distinctive minimalist design. In keeping with the Flos tradition, this lamp escapes any immediate classification. My Lines offers the end user the possibility of orchestrating the lights in the most diverse configurations. The direction of the bars can in fact be adjusted with an easy and intuitive movement, to continuously vary the domestic lighting landscape. Rotation is possible thanks to the special mechanism based on a linear LED PCB covered with a special platinum silicon that allows each individual line of the canopy to be easily rotated to direct the light where it is required. My Circuit Sphere: The sphere is a recurrent shape in Michael Anastassaides’s design philosophy. This elegant pendant light with its spherical glass diffuser offers a classic lighting solution with a contemporary twist, making it ideal for any space and interiors style. My Circuit Dome: This clean and minimal cap shaped suspension is available in two sizes. It is especially designed to give focused light to a table. All the suspended luminaires designed for the track program are also presented as stand-alone solutions, taking the names of My Disc, My Lines, My Sphere and My Dome.
