Product description

It might look a little unstable as it stands there in all its simplicity, but designer Alfredo Häberli guarantees that the Aki chair is both stable and a pleasure to sit on. The legs, which are rotated through almost 90 degrees, keep the chair very stable even though visually they're very striking, and the narrow piece of wood which defines the backbone of the chair is flanked by soft, comfortable cushions. With its amazing new looks, Alfredo Häberli and Fredericia Furniture have created a entirely unique chair.

"The idea was to create a unique chair with four legs. Of course, there are lots of ways to design that kind of chair, but I wanted to add a little twist. That's why I moved the legs so that they're positioned at a completely different angle to what we're used to seeing," explains Alfredo Häberli.
