Product description

With Kile, Jasper Morrison continues the line begun by Børge Mogensen’s iconic sofas, distinguished by a simple, understated design idiom combined with craftsmanship of the highest calibre. These are features that also distinguish Kile, with its stringent design where a straight back elegantly morphs into an angled armrest. The ends of the sofa open out slightly to make the unit appear more inviting and comfortable – in contrast to its otherwise strictly formal look.

Kile is based on a solid wood frame and upholstered in cold cured foam. This is a robust combination that allows Kile to withstand everyday use – even in high-frequency environments such as lobbies, waiting rooms and other public settings. The fixed upholstery ensures that the sofa always appears neat and that it is simple to maintain compared to sofas with unattached cushions, which require constant adjustment.

Kile is being launched in two- and three-seat models.
