The stabilising core comprising an aluminium pipe is surrounded on the outside by a protective coating of PE-RT, which provides protection against corrosion and mechanical loads. The central, longitudinally butt-welded aluminium layer makes the pipe stable, bendable and forms a barrier against diffusion. The inner layer of PE-RT is corrosion-resistant. Geberit Mepla can be bent by hand up to 20mm and can be processed with hand operating pressing tools from 16 to 26mm. ![Mepla](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_1410x940_crop_center-center_none/Geberit-Mepla-2.jpg) - [Manufacturer's Product-Info](https://www.geberit.co.uk/products/piping-systems-for-water-supply/geberit-mepla/) - [Manufacturer's website](https://www.geberit.de/de/) - [All products by Geberit @ Stylepark](https://www.stylepark.com/en/products/manufacturer/geberit) - [Geberit @ Stylepark](https://www.stylepark.com/en/manufacturer/geberit) Geberit Related Articles [AWARD NOMINATION Geberit 2023: SIGMA70 9/28/2023 Geberit has developed new surfaces for the "Sigma70" flush plate that offer architects and designers a diverse choice of colours and materials.](https://www.stylepark.com/en/news/geberit-2024-sigma70-flush-plate-geberit-stylepark-magazine) [AWARD NOMINATION Geberit 2023: CLEANLINE50 6/28/2023 Elegant, decent, robust and practical: with the "CleanLine50", Geberit presents a shower channel that leaves nothing to be desired.](https://www.stylepark.com/en/news/geberit-2023-cleanline50-shower-channel-stylepark-magazine) [INTERVIEWS Optimised 3/24/2023 At this year's ISH in Frankfurt am Main, Geberit presented a wide range of sanitary solutions and smart ideas that simplify planning as well as use and maintenance.
