It began with a chair and blossomed into a series with virtually unlimited potential. With the About series, Hee Welling has proven that a single strong idea can hold a wealth of development options. Today, the series includes dining and conference chairs, office chairs, bar stools, lounge chairs, tables, a foot stool and, as the latest addition, a sofa, and it is equally perfect for private and public settings. The About series is a true pragmatist, able to blend in or stand out, depending on the task it is assigned. Dramatize the silhouette with heavier upholstery, or opt for more subtle materials and colours. The many colour, upholstery and frame options are a particularly strong feature that allows you to tweak the design without compromising the basic concept. This version of About a Chair has a swivel base in powder-coated steel, which gives the chair a more formal expression, both because the wooden frame has been replaced with steel and because the delicate and elegant legs fan out from the centred base, almost standing on tiptoes and optically raising the chair off the floor. In this open version, the inviting seat offers an informal break – in a private or professional context. ![Aac11 Black Base Steelcut 190](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/AAC11-Black-Base-steelcut-190.jpg)![Aac11 Black Base Quilt Remix 173](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/AAC11-Black-Base-quilt-remix-173.jpg)![Aac11 Alu Base Quilt Remix 173](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/AAC11-Alu-Base-quilt-remix-173.jpg) ![Aac11 Black Base Hallingdal 116](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/AAC11-Black-Base-hallingdal-116.jpg)![Aac11 White Base Hallingdal 116](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/AAC11-White-Base-hallingdal-116.jpg)![Aac11 Alu Base Steelcut 190](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/AAC11-Alu-Base-steelcut-190.jpg) -
