The Mass Stool is a striking, sculptural seating piece that blurs the line between experimental material practice and functional furniture. The Mass Stool is crafted from a distinctive cork and plaster mix developed by Odd Matter, molded into vivid, organic forms that read as both spontaneous and deliberate. Each Mass Stool is handmade in a limited, hand-signed edition, meaning every stool varies slightly in texture and appearance and stands as a unique object in its own right.

Beyond its bold sculptural presence, the Mass Stool is a usable seat designed to fit diverse interiors and curated spaces. With a height of 45 cm and a diameter of 32 cm, the Mass Stool works well in living areas, galleries, or as an accent object in design-conscious environments. The materiality of the Mass Stool delivers an intriguing tactile quality and highlights Odd Matter’s experimental approach. Purchasing the Mass Stool also supports the PROPS initiative and includes a complimentary poster, making the piece both an artful and thoughtful acquisition for collectors and design enthusiasts.
