One quite special contribution comes from the young designer Riccardo Belli. His model Bolea was designed in the context of a design competition as a mini-lounger for children with a metabolism disorder. Leolux built the prototypes in 2012 and developed t
hem together with Riccardo to become distinctive loungers for adults. The spoon-shaped "Lungo" version is directly derived from the original swinging design (Bolea means to swing). The more compact version "Ovo" (the little egg) is a low seat that permits
various sitting positions. The cushion is fastened to the seat with a zip to be easily replaceable and provide for new colour accents. Of every Bolea sold, a part of the proceeds goes to the Energy4All Foundation, which is committed to children suffering
from a metabolism disorder.
