Product description

Hampton is a real homage to the great American architect Mies Van der Rohe (who designed the Seagram Building in New York’s Park Avenue). Combining glass with solid wood brings both transparency and modernity.

“When I design furniture, my greatest hope is to transpose ideas from architecture. In the case of Hampton, I was clearly influenced by the sublime Farnsworth House, designed by Mies Van Der Rohe. One can see the combination of cherry wood and glass just as much in the architecture of the house as in the construction of this piece of furniture.”
