The Hypna Bed 2 wings combines a minimalist profile with a headboard whose side panels can be opened or closed to create different spatial configurations. When closed, the wings create a protected, intimate sleeping nook; when opened, the sleeping area is formally expanded and can accommodate additional furniture such as a small bedside table or bench. This adaptive behavior makes the Hypna Bed 2 wings suitable for both large and modestly sized bedrooms. Constructed with a metal tubing frame and panels clad in polyurethane foam with polyester quilting, the Hypna Bed 2 wings emphasizes comfort as well as form. The vertical lines of the headboard accentuate the piece’s function and contribute an elegant graphic rhythm. The matt black epoxy lacquered metal base and removable covers (by an upholsterer) support a blend of durability and tailored finishes.
