Marie Christine Dorner has designed a sofa for Ligne Roset that calmly faces surprises.
The chair, in its simplest expression. Childishly simple lines, drawn with the desire to correlate the representation of an object by its design with its use. To establish this simplicity, these tubular lines trace out two identical shapes which interweave to recreate the design. The structure complete, the only thing that remains is the fix the moulded wood shell in place to discover the chair in all its simplicity. Perluette is the French name for the ampersand (&) at the heart of the design for the chair’s structure.
