The subtle difference

Light + Building recently closed its doors to the public in Frankfurt/Main. Which topics are people still talking about? Here is Stylepark’s retrospective overview of the fair.
With its aluminium body, Giotto is the compact downlight that disappears from the ceiling, leaving only a small round photo visible.
Unique in its kind, thanks to the 9 mm source and the surprising controlled diffusion in two optical variants of 30° and 60°, Giotto offers an innovative solution in the field of lighting, unparalleled in the ratio between the small diameter of the beam outlet hole and the very high lighting efficiency. Linea Light Group's Cross Optics Technology™ takes advantage of the positioning of two convex lenses placed in front of each other: the first collects the light on the surface of the second, conveying it to a small point without imperfections by definition; the second reopens the beam, now deprived of the secondary component, creating a circle of clear and clean light on the illuminated surface.
Thanks to its double application, recessed or suspended, Giotto can be used in several contexts, even in combination with products from the same family with the same technological and lighting engineering features. The entire range ensures perfect integration with the environment, high efficiency and uniform installation for all the products in the family.
