In 2008, Cologne-based product designer Lars Backhaus and Karl Lang, who studied Technology and Design in Dessau established Pixlip GmbH, a groundbreaking manufacturer of light modules for architecture and interior design in Duesseldorf. Their system of using brilliant, graphic backlit LED elements digitally printed onto textile surfaces stretched over stable, easy-to-mount aluminum profiles has now proved its worth as a flexible furnishing element, freestanding room divider or backlit wall surface for offices, kitchens or living rooms, as well as for illuminated displays in shops and showrooms, for trade-fair stands, hotels and restaurants – the business grows and grows and the scope of usage now includes even architecture and exteriors. “These light modules can be produced on demand, in any dimensions and using any motifs,” are Lars Backhaus’ comments on just how successful the idea has been. “They are a bright, customized system solution for both the private and the public sphere, are simple to erect, and can be used flexibly.” Collections [Luminous ceiling](https://www.stylepark.com/en/products/manufacturer/pixlip/collection/luminous-ceiling) [Luminous furniture](https://www.stylepark.com/en/products/manufacturer/pixlip/collection/luminous-furniture) [Luminous walls](https://www.stylepark.com/en/products/manufacturer/pixlip/collection/luminous-walls) Address ## Pixlip GmbH Raiffeisenstraße 17 40764 Langenfeld Germany T: +49 (0)2173 6899 5976 F: +49 (0)2173 20458 11 - Estimate - Printed catalogue Products [![Lightbox outside](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_1410x940_crop_center-center_none/Leuchtwand_Leuchtkasten-outdoor_01_Frontbild.jpg)](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/lightbox-outside) [Pixlip Lightbox outside](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/lightbox-outside) [![Lightwall freestanding](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_1410x940_crop_center-center_none/Leuchtwand-freistehend_10_Frontbild.jpg)](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/lightwall-freestanding) [Pixlip Lightwall freestanding](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/lightwall-freestanding) [![Lightstele freestanding](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_1410x940_crop_center-center_none/Leuchtstele-freistehend_01_Frontbild.jpg)](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/lightstele-freestanding) [Pixlip Lightstele freestanding](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/lightstele-freestanding) [![Lightbox wall installation](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_1410x940_crop_center-center_none/Leuchtkasten-Wandmontage_05_Frontbild.jpg)](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/lightbox-wall-installation) [Pixlip Lightbox wall installation](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/lightbox-wall-installation) [![Lightwall with shelving-system](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_1410x940_crop_center-center_none/Regallichtwand_05_Frontbild.jpg)](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/lightwall-with-shelving-system) [Pixlip Lightwall with shelving-system](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/lightwall-with-shelving-system) [![Illuminated desk](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_1410x940_crop_center-center_none/Leuchttische_01_Frontbild.jpg)](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/illuminated-desk) [Pixlip Illuminated desk](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/illuminated-desk) [![Illuminated ceiling ring](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_1410x940_crop_center-center_none/Deckenring_05_Frontbild.jpg)](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/ceiling-ring) [Pixlip Illuminated ceiling ring](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/ceiling-ring) [![Ceiling lightbox vertical](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_1410x940_crop_center-center_none/Deckenlicht_Deckenlicht-vertikal_03_Frontbild.jpg)](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/ceiling-lightbox-vertical) [Pixlip Ceiling lightbox vertical](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/ceiling-lightbox-vertical) [![Ceiling lightbox horizontal](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_1410x940_crop_center-center_none/Deckenlicht-horizontal_01_Frontbild.jpg)](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/ceiling-lightbox-horizontal) [Pixlip Ceiling lightbox horizontal](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/ceiling-lightbox-horizontal) [![Lightcube](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/articles/_1410x940_crop_center-center_none/Leuchtkubus_05_Frontbild_170302_123625.jpg)](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/lightcube) [Pixlip Lightcube](https://www.stylepark.com/en/pixlip/lightcube) [All products](https://www.stylepark.com/en/products/manufacturer/pixlip)
