Circular, fixed recessed lighting fitting for installation in ceilings and walls, suitable for a single circular fluorescent type T16-R lamp, rating 55 watts. The unit comprises clearly distinct components: a circular recess ring, a round base plate with the connecting terminal, the electronic ballast plus 2Gx13 type lamp holder and a circular opal diffuser which is secured with a round disc. The recess ring is manufactured in aluminium and finished in a matt white textured polyester powder coating. The recess ring has three clamping plates, which enable the ring to be set at the correct recess height, depending on the thickness of the ceiling. A circular opal polycarbonate light diffuser is fitted together with the base plate into the recess ring and secured with a round MDF disc. This 250 mm diameter disc is finished in matt white primer.
