A touch of new objectivity

Quo vadis, furniture design? This year’s Salone del Mobile reveals a few ideas. An analysis in our glance back at the fair.
The bench draws inspiration from the Hermès Talaris saddle made by the great French maison and championed by Jean Louis Dumas. The revolutionary saddle inspired the Italo-Bosnian designer who over the years developed this linear, contoured design. Made of cold-cured polyurethane foam, the bench has a choice of leather or fabric upholstery.
