New tables: From material fetish to the Zen factor
by Jasmin Jouhar | 4/11/2017
Be they short or long of leg, simply unique or extravagant: there’s no end to the variety of tables in Milan.
The patchwork covers in the vast Sushi collection are particularly striking and are the key elements of the various compositions, strengthened by an embroidered weave filled with shapes, hi-tech grids, spirographics and patterns reminiscent of Moroccan damask. The Karmakoma sofas and the elements of Sushi block are in shape-retaining differentiated density polyurethane foam and polyester fibre with inner wood frame. The Joy balls, Donut seat and Juju small armchair are in flame-retardant cold-foamed polyurethane.
