Come over!

A bridge is never just a structure that fulfills a purpose. The connection it is meant to offer serves to smooth paths, forge contacts, and enable personal understanding. In other words, a bridge always has something to do with dialog. A bridge is the perfect symbol of dialog.

The apartment block complex on Budapest' Práter street 30-32 was designed by the Plant architects company. There are two new buildings that function as wings to an existing older block. The facades of the two new sections are clad in the same dark-born clinker brick, whereby the surface is interrupted at various points by projections of different lengths in fair-faced concrete. These balconies stand out over the street like so many special balconies. Between the new buildings, these protrusions grow longer, and some of them actually extend as far as the opposite building. The interplay of short parapets, balconies and bridges creates a frozen image that seemingly arises by chance from a dynamic process of growing links.
