Curators of Design
von Claudia Beckmann | 4/11/2007

From the beginning of April 2007, it's all change at Stylepark. With the long planned, eagerly awaited relaunch of our website, the vision of an integrated, networked communications platform, which presents our product section in all its facets, is now a reality. We have evolved from a pure product database into an intelligent, editorially-led competence center for design. In addition to a substantially, functionally enhanced database, in which architects and interior designers, in particular, can search for the best products from (at present) 220 high-end design sector companies, we have created an editorial structure, which takes equal account of major international design scene innovations and the overriding social debate, we have long been calling for in our sector. From now on, the networking of all our data and information will provide everything from extensive product information services to editorial features. Also, new navigation offers filter functions for targeted searches, which guarantee greater efficiency and rapid results. We have developed a module, featuring all the designers represented at Stylepark, their personal portfolios, designs and concept groups so, in addition to the actual products, you can also obtain information on their creative background. An initial look at the new launch page tells it all - the content diversity is also reflected in the design. The presentation bundles all the sectors active in Stylepark, as well as the online sector, our print magazine and information on our events. It goes without saying that we have also developed for the database, a new and optimised presentation concept featuring larger picture formats and detailed shots, which facilitate more precise product understanding. We have also introduced a host of new models and tools, from our Top Fifty (a listing of the 50 most searched for Stylepark products), which is updated on a weekly basis, to the "latest" column on the launch page, which keeps you up to speed on all major product innovations, design-sector-wide.As one of the major sources of information for architects and designers in German-speaking countries and, increasingly, internationally, Stylepark is extending its service spectrum and reinforcing communications across the design segment. Be inspired and excited! We look forward to your visit to
