The crisp outlines reminiscent of autumn leaves contrasts sharply with the dense metal surface of this bench. The shapes create a rich pattern which penetrates the surface to form part of the structure itself. As light passes through their silhouettes, ghostly shadows form on the ground beneath. Like a camouflage print, the leaves transform familiar elements of the natural world into symbols of contemporary design.
