For the system furniture manufacturer Piure, Werner Aisslinger designed the “Mesh” shelving system, which combines functionality with coziness.
Imagine a master of acting: His play looks absolutely effortlessly. The audience would never know what is all behind this scenery – practice, performance, technique and energy. The true artist works hard so the recipients can fully enjoy. And it is the same with our star among the Piure furniture: the shelf Puro. Puro is delivered in single parts and only on site the shelf is built together by manual work. The making of the shelf is so clever that neither a single screw nor hinge is visible anymore. A further finesse by the single parts: there are no double side plates like for the so-called other corpus programs but tender sides which give the shelf airiness. But also the edges: these look fine and filigree although it seems to be impossible with the stability of the shelf. The explanation: The edges are beveled, means that the 19 millimeter strong plates are grinded to almost the half. And also the handeless fronts belong to the perfect play of Puro.
