The new informal

Will we still work at desks in future? That was one of the many questions asked at Orgatec 2018 in Cologne. We review the trade fair.
Roberto Lazzeroni designed Ginger Ale. The most informal and simplified variant of the Ginger is ideal as dining room chair. The smooth pattern design for the shell-like body is visually integrated with the four conical metal supports. A sense of continui
ty is emphasised by cement or anthracite varnishing on the outside of the seat and the metal frame. The inside of Ginger Ale is softened by polyurethane foam padding upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System. The leather also runs along the
outer edges of the body and the two characteristic drop openings, thanks to skilled manual finishing, creating an essential and precious decorative motif.
