The inspiration, clear even from the name itself, is linked to the morphology of the hippopotamus and is revealed in the design of the aluminium legs, large and sculptural. The contrasting top, made with coloured paste laminate, stands out instead for its thin profile and deliberately irregular contour, reminiscent of the animal’s body. Available in different diameters and heights, Hyppo’s variants can be combined to recreate islands of coffee tables, welcoming the placement in any corner or living room. The colour palette, which includes ochre, crimson, quartz green, and petroleum green in a matte finish, also promotes the complementarity of the combination. ![S CAB HYPPO setting 02 70 ph Claudia Zalla](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/manufacturers/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/S-CAB_HYPPO_setting_02_70_ph-Claudia-Zalla.jpg)![S CAB HYPPO still life 0108 DEF](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/manufacturers/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/S-CAB_HYPPO_still-life_0108-DEF.jpg)![S CAB HYPPO still life 0054](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/manufacturers/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/S-CAB_HYPPO_still-life_0054.jpg)![S CAB HYPPO still life 0072](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/manufacturers/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/S-CAB_HYPPO_still-life_0072.jpg)![S CAB HYPPO still life 0129 DEF](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/manufacturers/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/S-CAB_HYPPO_still-life_0129-DEF.jpg)![S CAB HYPPO setting 03 361 ph Claudia Zalla](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/manufacturers/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/S-CAB_HYPPO_setting_03_361_ph-Claudia-Zalla.jpg)![S CAB HYPPO setting with FLAP 113007m](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/manufacturers/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/S-CAB_HYPPO_setting_with-FLAP_113007m.jpg) ![S CAB HYPPO still life 0061](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/manufacturers/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/S-CAB_HYPPO_still-life_0061.jpg)![S CAB HYPPO still life 0078](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/manufacturers/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/S-CAB_HYPPO_still-life_0078.jpg)![S CAB HYPPO setting 5562](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/manufacturers/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/S-CAB_HYPPO_setting_5562.jpg)![S CAB HYPPO setting 04 393 ph Claudia Zalla](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/manufacturers/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/S-CAB_HYPPO_setting_04_393_ph-Claudia-Zalla.jpg)![S CAB HYPPO setting 05 740 ph Claudia Zalla](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/manufacturers/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/S-CAB_HYPPO_setting_05_740_ph-Claudia-Zalla.jpg)![S CAB HYPPO still life 0084](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/manufacturers/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/S-CAB_HYPPO_still-life_0084.jpg)![S CAB HYPPO setting 01 104 ph Claudia Zalla](https://www.stylepark.com/assets/transformations/manufacturers/_697xAUTO_fit_center-center_none/S-CAB_HYPPO_setting_01_104_ph-Claudia-Zalla.jpg) - Request a quote - [Manufacturer's Product-Info](https://www.s-cab.it/en/products/hyppo/) - [Manufacturer's website](https://www.scabdesign.com) - [All products by S•CAB @ Stylepark](https://www.stylepark.com/en/products/manufacturer/s-cab) - [S•CAB @ Stylepark](https://www.stylepark.com/en/manufacturer/s-cab) S•CAB Related Articles [FEATURED Out in the wild 5/28/2026 With “Koala Outdoor,” the design studio Zaven has adapted its “Koala” seating for outdoor use for S•CAB, combining its clean lines with exceptional comfort for patios, bars, and urban spaces.](https://www.stylepark.com/en/news/scab-koala-outdoor-zaven-design-furniture-stylepark-magazine) [STYLEPARK RAFFLE Green poetry 8/1/2025 Stylepark is raffling off a "Mimosa" plant holder from S-CAB!](https://www.stylepark.com/en/news/stylepark-raffle-scab-mimosa) [AWARD NOMINATION A fresh perspective 5/9/2025 Zaven Design created the "Koala" seating furniture for S-CAB, two variations on a basic idea that gently envelop the body and offer maximum comfort.
