Milan is realigning

Coffee pot from the porcelain service by Maarten Baas, arisen from artistic pencil sketches. To make moulds each shape is shaped in foam by hand. Unlike computer generated shapes that are rigid and abstract in their perfection, those by Maarten, with the
softness and slight irregularity, reveal the personality and spontaneity of their creator. Modelling the forms by hand gives the individual pieces an almost random appearance despite being in perfect harmony with one another, similar to the unfurling of
shapes in nature.
