Living space is precious, which is why hallways are often cramped and dark. But entrances can be inviting, uncluttered and elegant if you want them to be.

The Featured Editions at imm cologne, curated by Stylepark together with the trade fair’s team led by Creative Director Dick Spierenburg, offers a marvelous wealth of original ideas.

At this year’s imm cologne the “Featured Editions” exhibition, created in collaboration with Stylepark, formed an integral component of the new “Pure Editions” hall concept used to strengthen the trade fair’s position within the high-end segment, a concept that proved to be an instant success. Ten platforms dotted throughout the hall formed the basis of presentations by selected exhibitors. We documented a number of them on film and in interviews with the creative minds behind them.

“Featured Editions” developed by the imm Cologne in collaboration with Stylepark and premiering at this year’s fair presented a broad spectrum of concepts that were both creative and artistic. The new format saw a positive response from exhibitors and visitors alike – plans for the next installment in 2014 are already in the pipeline.

You only need to step out of the plane to be enjoying good, plain contemporary design. What the Stockholm Furniture Fair has to present in its halls does not exist in isolation. It comes to life in the city.
