Strapped it up outdoors
by Martina Metzner | 4/10/2017
Be it chairs with playful wickerwork, large modular sofas, or colorful lightweights – when it comes to outdoor furniture the choice is ever greater.
Light and airy, the NODI chair’s form and silhouette are characterized by twisted-interlaced rope stretched across a precise geometric wireframe. Pared back, refined proportions and a minimalist approach to materiality lend a casual, lightness to the collection. The slim profile of the arm is angled slightly inward in a welcoming gesture.
Open-woven manufactured hemp (Canax®) - proprietary to Tribù - provides shape and structure to the seat and back; bands are knotted together where vertical and horizontal lines intersect. Strong and durable, the rope work is also gently forgiving, adding to the ease and comfort of each chair.
frame: powdercoated stainless steel, backrest & seat : Canax®
