With its concrete-look tiles, Villeroy & Boch Tiles are setting a new tone.
In a world of variety and contrasts, everyone finds his or her opposite. Whether vibrant or understated, forthright or mischievous, black or white - the result is always simple but effective. This is the statement Villeroy & Boch used last year to present BiancoNero, an exquisitely crafted modular wall and floor concept continuing the trend towards black/white. It deliberately emphasises colour reduction and thus plays with suspenseful contrasts and powerful harmonies. Inspired by the international graffiti art scene, Villeroy & Boch now complements this tone-on-tone motif, highly synthetic, playing off between light and shadow.
This new Graffiti decor comes as an addition to the two existing décor themes: the Cristall decor, derived from crystalline shapes, and a decor with abstract floral motifs, both of which are, thanks to their three-dimensional effects, just the thing for large-scale design work. Graffiti also displays a three-dimensional effect in its design, tone-on-tone in a selection of black or white. With three forms of the graphic motif, which conveys the look of art and craftsmanship, the decor is clearly reminiscent of graffiti. It can be laid horizontally or vertically, and the interplay it creates between depth and width makes for a completely new feeling in both simple modern and classically staged spaces.
