With "FLAP", S-CAB presents a modular corner sofa by Sandro Meneghello and Marco Paolelli that is ideal for indoors and outdoors. The metal base, for which you can choose from the colours "linen", "dove grey", "anthracite", "mocha" and "terracotta", can be equipped with upholstered elements and storage surfaces as required. The backrests of the minimal structure are equipped with rectangular supports that resemble aeroplane flaps and thus provided the inspiration for the name "FLAP". Thanks to them, the seated person receives additional support. "The moveable backrest, a 'FLAP', which sits on the tubular structure and can rotate roughly 15 degrees on its axis, allowing the support cushion to have varying inclinations for maximum comfort, is what defines the system and gives the collection its name," say designers Sandro Meneghello and Marco Paolelli. The contrast to the clear structure is provided by the voluminous cushions, which are made of acrylic fabric and are therefore particularly robust. A wide selection of fabrics can be chosen for the cover. All in all, the flexible "FLAP" modular system by S-CAB consists of four components that can be combined for any scenery.
