It was movement that inspired the artistic ideas of Boccioni and to mark the hundredth anniversary of the death of the great futuristic painter, Alessio De Francesco pays tribute to the theme of dynamism with the Branca chair. It's a meeting of opposites in which the light frame in solid ash is defined by semi- elliptical curves and suggests a dynamic tension in which the chair seems to want to leap. The unique arms are made from one piece of solid curved ash, while the backrest is composed of 9 curved sections. The seat and the backrest invite one to enjoy the comfort inspired by the soft, accommodating and static shape. Branca is also equipped with castors on the front and a handle on the backrest to make it easier to move. Once again Giorgetti takes another step towards strengthening that tradition of cabinet-making, which allows it to create a design such as this. The new collaboration with designer Alessio De Francesco, a fresh talent on the Italian design scene, highlights how Giorgetti strives to give space and visibility to new architects.
