This three-legged stool is an efficient,space-saving design available in four versions.All versions are made with an oak frame, withone model designed with a wicker seat wovenfrom natural reed fibres. Another model iscrafted with an oak disc in the frame that formsa solid seat. Both versions are available in oiledoak or smoked oak, providing a choice of blondwood or dark wood.
The designer has significant expertise intraditional woodworking techniques, whichhe combines with contemporary sensibilities.Part of the stool’s character is formed by therelationship between natural materials andcraft techniques, intended to make each stoolone-of-a-kind. The legs rise to the full height ofthe seat, sitting alongside the frame rather thanunderneath it. They add a border of roundedshapes to the stool, creating a simple, yetstriking, profile.
