Munich: Resonance and Silence

"Resonance and Silence", a collaborative event organized by Sammlung Goetz Collection and Munich's Haus der Kunst, is set to put its visitors' senses to the test. Presentations and installations, films and video works by various artists contrast aural and visual stimuli and teach visitors how to "hear colors and see sounds".

Milan: A dash of creativity to accompany the fair

This year, the vibrant Milanese district of Lambrate will become home to the "Ventura Lambrate". The many abandoned buildings to be found there offer ideal exhibition spaces for young designers and artists, university projects and creative labels. The event's organizers have come up with an inspiring sub-program to the parallel Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the International Furniture Fair, which will place the Italian city at the center of the design world from April 17 through 22.

Art Cologne: Art with a Rhineland accent

Created in times gone by as the "Cologne Art Market", Art Cologne now enjoys a reputation as the oldest cultural trade fair in the world. In the Koelnmesse trade-fair complex, around 200 prestigious national and international galleries present works ranging from Classical Modernism to Contemporary Art. A multifaceted program of fringe events taking place across the entire Rhineland and the parallel satellite fair NADA in New York round off this annual highlight on the art world's calendar.

RAY 2012: Photography between space and time

Initiated by Kulturfonds Frankfurt Rhein Main, between April and October 2012 RAY 2012 will take over an array of exhibition spaces in Frankfurt and the surrounding area presenting international works of contemporary photography and video art. The focal point is the main exhibition "Making History", which will be spread across a number of venues – Frankfurt's Museum für Moderne Kunst, MMK Zollverein and Frankfurt Kunstverein. Here, works by 40 photo artists address the central "question of the power of images".
