Stylepark or In the Midst of the World of Design
May 1, 2010

While it seems that ever-larger areas of our lives are being outsourced into the virtual realm, Stylepark has set out in the opposite direction and at this year's Light+Building in the new Exhibition Hall 11 at the Messe Frankfurt, the online platform presented itself as an accessible circuit. As such, numerous visitors romped through the three-dimensional interpretation of the Stylepark home page - created by the Frankfurt-based designer Knut Völzke (Leise Design) as well as a light concept by Achim Jungbluth (LFF) - and informed themselves about the extensive range of Stylepark's online offerings for all interested in the areas Architecture, Design, Materials and News&Stories.

On the other hand, for anyone who preferred to take a break in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the trade fair, the Stylepark-Café in Exhibition Hall 1.2 - under the impressive LED chandelier by Baccarat - offered guests the opportunity to review all of the latest lighting elements over a refreshment. This turned out to be an appealing offer, not only for the purpose of relaxation but also for animated discussions and meetings in the context of the trade fair. Such is the diversity of communication today - whether in front of the computer at home or at the office, or at an e15 table in a café at the exhibition hall. (cb)
