Amir Paknya

Amir Paknya has always had an eye for clean lines. Growing up in the cultural mecca of Tehran, Iran, Paknya learned from his parents a keen appreciation for the arts. With good penmanship mandatory in Iranian schools at the time, he developed an affinity for calligraphy at an early age. “I have always loved the weight of a good pen in my hand and the feel of ink gliding over the tooth of a high-quality paper,” he states. “I see beauty in simple curves and different line weights.”
