Emdedesign was founded in 2013 in Frankfurt / Main, Germany. Frankfurt based light artist Thomas Emde is the brain behind emdedesign. He and his team have been working with the new light technologies LED and OLED for many years They can look back on more than 10 years of international experience in the field of architectural lighting. Thomas Emde and his team have realized many major projects both nationally and internationally – among them the illumination of the Kaiserdom and the stock market in Frankfurt, Germany. Against the background of the experience in architectural lighting emdedesign has set the goal to take a stand against the increasing light pollution of our world and to exclusively concentrate on sustainable solutions for good light close to people.
