Jephsen RobbVereinigte Staaten
Jephson Robb, born in Glasgow, Scotland, studied Political Economics at
Glasgow University before graduating in Design from The Royal College of Art,
London in 2003.
Robb received his first commission "Temple" from Tord Boontje for "Eight
s," the British Council's touring exhibition of China, 2004. "Temple" was
described by Icon magazine as "a lovely thing with a serene quality"
In 2005 Paola Antonelli the Senior Curator in the Department of Architecture
and Design at the New
York Museum of Modern Art commissioned Robb to
create "Cries & Whispers" for SAFE, the first major design exhibition at the
museum since it reopened in Nov 2004. "Cries & Whispers" is now in the
museum's permanent collection.
Since then R
obb has worked with Liberty of London, Frankfurt Messe, Atkins,
The Environment Agency, Page/Park Architects and Austin-Smith:Lord on
interior installations and permanent public sculptures.
Robb also works as Art Director for the Bernhardt De
sign exhibitions at the
Salone Del Mobile in Milan and created the new Bernhardt Design website as
well as the current advertising campaign for Bernhardt Textiles.
