The Lancaster Collection is a popular choice with designers for projects around the world. In response to our clients’ requests, the collection has expanded to include two new color options, “Sand” and “White” for the seat and back of Lancaster Stacking Chairs, Counter Stools and Barstools. Lancaster seats and backs are made of die-cast aluminum with a powder coat finish. The wood legs are available in natural and dark stain ash wood. Emeco first launched the Lancaster furniture collection by British designer Michael Young in 2010. The collection was Emeco’s first foray into component-based design and our first collection utilizing wood. The responsibly harvested ash wood components are made by an Amish factory in nearby Lancaster County, Pennsylvania - providing the collection its name.
