Stefania Andorlini's Archè lounge chair gives the idea of a gentlemen's throne, for those who want a chair they can keep for ever. The silhouette is based on an interplay of lines and curves: the steel rod bends and flexes to create the structure supporting the seat. Combined with this is the aluminium shell that adds depth and body to the seat well: fully upholstered in leather, it gives the impression that it is directly resting on the steel rod frame.
