A new generation of Birds has been designed by the Italian jewellery designer, Giorgio Vigna. Made from layers of hot glass formed in a mould, the head and the body are created separately and joined while the glass is hot. Vigna's Birds are sculptural and

characterised by a strong symbolic meaning.
