Truncheon is a series consisting of a suspended tube light, an articulated task lamp and a freestanding tube that rests against a wall. The wooden fixture is custom CNC milled, creating a delicate scallop-edged ring effect on the surface. In this way, the
substantial presence of the solid wood form is offset by the skillfully carved surface. Avoiding unnecessary knobs or switches, the Truncheon adheres to its namesake, a simple compact stick form fashioned out of traditional materials and shaped by advanc
