The Nixon bed has a 16mm tubular metal structure. The frame in upholstered wood positioned with the structure is what remains of the characteristic peripheral border of a padded bed. The headboard is upholstered and also crowned by metal rod, with two ver
sions available: a single-panel basic headboard or a more decorative version characterised by trapezoidal elements which cut across the surface horizontally.
