UU Tiles, a venture of Unknown, Untitled, began as a research initiative and evolved into a full tile collection thanks to a collaboration with a historic Normandy tile manufacturer. Challenging the prevailing focus on mobility and flexibility in interior design, UU Tiles explores sustainability via permanence and integrated functions. It comprises plain tiles, ceramic hooks, and lamps. A sense of modernity arises even though the enduring quality of the material supports the search for timeless forms.

These tiles act as a physical interface between the architecture and the living space, blurring the boundaries between objects and space. Due to their shape, the wall lamp and hook blend seamlessly into the tiling. They provide endless combinations of colors and functions. The lamp can also be mounted as a wall light on various surfaces. For Matter & Shape, a column rises from a horizontal platform positioned halfway between a lobby of a 1970s condo and a contemporary sculpture.

Established in Paris in 2016, Unknown, Untitled has implemented its creative vision through forward-thinking design solutions, strategic consulting, and design development worldwide. Their name reflects their approach: a pursuit of design that transcends individual expression, prioritizing purpose, meticulous execution, and collaborative spirit.
