This staircase is a mix of floating treads and fully supported treads with the added challenge of an existing barn wall which is leaning heavily. The lower half of the staircase is comprised of solid oak treads and angled risers leading up to a small half landing. The upper flight consists again of oak treads, but cantilevered from the wall. Where required glass risers ensure compliance with UK building regulations. EeStairs TransParancy 1-04 glass balustrade is capped with stainless steel handrail whilst the fixings are clad in oak giving the appearance that the glass has sliced through the treads. .
