Access to power for the daily gadgets at hand still stands out as a critical problem, and to solve it most of the furniture we use in the workplace gets overtly complicated and costly. When we imagine that in a short while we would be rid of all the cables we use today, the tables with all those cable access doors, heavy cable trays and channels will look quite dated, nearly prehistoric.

This way the user can have the possibility to connect thanks to this practically mobile element which can serve next to any seating, working, lounging or meeting situation.

The intention with the T-Stick and T-Coffee table as a portable usb service element, is to allow the user move freely around the work habitat without worrying about how to power up their daily devices, be it mobiles or tablets.

The device is made of two parts, the bottom disc remains connected via the cable to any power source and the top part includes a powerbank, which provides necessary power during the day. At night one has only to place the mobile element back to its base to power up for the next day.

An additional element is designed to all mobile pieces in the series, as a ‘powered tree’ in open areas. The idea is to provide a small shelter for Ad hoc and stand up get together situations. One can easily reach power on the desk level, and have an ambient light reflecting back from the top surface. A slight feeling of acoustic shelter under a roof is yet another benefit, and also a possibility to mark the area of the tree, as a meeting point that can be seen from afar very easily.
