Tropicalia was a Brazilian art movement that arose in the late sixties and encompassed music, theatre, poetry and other art forms. This movement was influenced by poesia concreta, a genre of Brazilian avant garde poetry ant it became associated with the m
ovements of musical expression, in Brasil and elsewhere. Tropicalia became a popular mixture of bossa nova, rock & roll, African music and even Portugese fade.
It is not surprising that this famous art and cult movement has been the inspira
